Big Island Bush Regeneration

Throughout autumn and winter, Berrim Nuru Aboriginal Environmental Services will be undertaking weed removal and native seedling replanting as part of the Big Island bush regeneration project. NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service is hosting a free seminar on the project at City Beach Function Centre on Thursday 6 April, 5-7pm. The event also celebrates 50 years of Five Islands being a Nature Reserve and a book launch of “The Story of Five Islands” by the children of Coomaditchie. To RSVP, contact Dr Rowena Morris on 02 4224 4188 or email five.islands@environment.nsw.gov.au.
