Port Kembla 2505 Revitalisation Plan

The 2505 Port Kembla Suburb Study seeks to understand the history of Port Kembla and set forward goals and aspirations to improve the area into the future. In partnership with the community, the Plan will set the vision and strategic direction for carrying out improvements to public infrastructure, planning policy and community capacity-building. In this sense, the work will directly influence the immediate population and its economy. All improvements delivered by the Plan will be targeted to benefit the local community – residents, workers and businesses. The Port Kembla ‘2505’ Plan will refresh the previous work undertaken by Council and the community, establishing a clear Implementation Plan to guide the revitalisation of the Port Kembla Town Centre and suburb.

You’re invited to the Port Kembla Options Workshop
We’ve been working with the community on the Port Kembla 2505 Revitalisation Plan, which will set a vision and action plan for the future of Port Kembla. We’re holding the next round of workshops on Thursday 19 October to show you what they’ve come up with so far and to give you a chance to comment. We’d love for you to be part of the conversation and help choose which Town Centre projects are most important. There’ll be a day session from 11am – 12.30pm and an evening session from 6pm – 7.30pm. Come along to whichever one suits you best, or go to both if you like! Light food and beverages will be provided at no cost. Interested? Register via Eventbrite, and be sure to share this with anyone else you think might like to be involved. All welcome!
